Copyrights is a form of intellectual property rights, that granted by law for original works of authorship fixed in a tangible medium of expression. Copyright covers both published and unpublished works.
What does copyright protect?
Copyright protects “original works of authorship” that are fixed in a tangible form of expression.
Copyrightable works include the following categories:

5. pictorial, graphic, and sculptural works
6. motion pictures and other audiovisual works
